  • Season 1 (13 Episodes)

The Catholic detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) solves his cases in Protestant Toronto at the turn of the century in a highly unconventional way for his time: with the help of fingerprints, blood samples, precise analysis and searches for clues at the crime scene, he always succeeds in convicting the guilty party or parties, sometimes much to the astonishment of his superiors. With the help of his subordinate Constable George Crabtree (Jonny Harris) and the forensic pathologist Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy), Murdoch achieves successes that ultimately even convince Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) of his abilities.

William Murdoch has to deal with high-profile criminals and solves the mysterious cases in his usual manner in his own special way. Murdoch meets some of the most famous and notorious personalities of the time, from Buffalo Bill Cody to Jack the Ripper.

  • Season 3 (13 Episodes)

From Bristol in England to Chinatown in Toronto - in the third season, progressive criminologist William Murdoch is drawn to the most adventurous mysteries everywhere. Murdoch and his team have their hands full again in the fourth season. • Season 5 (13 Episodes)

Detective Murdoch must tread carefully when he pursues a Catholic suspect in the murder of an Alderman, killed during the attempted assassination of the city's Protestant Mayor.
